Now that Erik is married and I’m stuck with him he’s really letting his freak flag fly (or it just seems that way).

First off he’s been singing “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astly for months and I don’t know why. Yes, I am being “rick-rolled” in my very own home. I am just hoping to catch it on camera at this point.

He also likes making up songs like “Promiscuous Squirrel” or just pretty much anything with “girl” in it he changes to “squirrel.” He’s so clever.

Also if you missed it, he made me this. Granted it was for my 30th birthday back in February but it’s the thought that counts. He carved it out of a piece of wood, it’s the most wonderful thing he’s ever given me.

Erik: Tell the truth. Do you love or hate Martha Stewart?

Robin: I don’t love or hate her. I would never watch her show or buy one of her books but I would borrow some decorating ideas from her.

Erik: OMG ME TOO!!! High five!

Now that life has mostly gone back to normal I’ve realized how different everything is as a married woman.

1. No more pretending I’m virginal although I think I kept up appearances of it for a long time
2. No more having sex with other men, at least not when he’s home.
3. No more makeup, dressing up or trying to look my best…it doesn’t really matter anymore does it? I figure sweatpants will do.
4. No more trying to be prim and proper. Now I can really swear and be offensive.
5. No more trying to be nice to Erik or consider his feelings, they don’t really matter anymore now that I’ve trapped him for good :evil:
6. No more pretending I can cook, luckily Erik can cook and I can just bring home the bacon.
7. No more listening to his stories, I can just pretend I am listening and if he notices I am not listening I can just use The Wonder Twins.

I think this whole marriage thing is going to work out just fine

Can I just say I think The Wonder Twins were a little over-kill in the wedding, not that I had a choice they do whatever they want to do.  Is it just me or do I look like I’m nursing?
