Now that Erik is married and I’m stuck with him he’s really letting his freak flag fly (or it just seems that way).

First off he’s been singing “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astly for months and I don’t know why. Yes, I am being “rick-rolled” in my very own home. I am just hoping to catch it on camera at this point.

He also likes making up songs like “Promiscuous Squirrel” or just pretty much anything with “girl” in it he changes to “squirrel.” He’s so clever.

Also if you missed it, he made me this. Granted it was for my 30th birthday back in February but it’s the thought that counts. He carved it out of a piece of wood, it’s the most wonderful thing he’s ever given me.

Erik: Tell the truth. Do you love or hate Martha Stewart?

Robin: I don’t love or hate her. I would never watch her show or buy one of her books but I would borrow some decorating ideas from her.

Erik: OMG ME TOO!!! High five!

Can I just say I think The Wonder Twins were a little over-kill in the wedding, not that I had a choice they do whatever they want to do.  Is it just me or do I look like I’m nursing?

Robin, it’s not too late! I know you love Erik and all, but your one true love heard that you were getting married and snuck into the ceremony. I have proof that he was there and crying that his one chance to tell you how he really felt was gone forever. If you don’t believe me, look at this, and then run to him! Run like the wind!

So yes, my bachelorette party is this weekend. Actually it’s kind of Part I. It got split into 2 parties because some friends couldn’t (or wouldn’t) come to the first one. I’m excited for both of them though.

Here are details (that I know) of my party:

• We’re having BBQ, I’m not entirely sure Gemini can use a grill because her hubby has always done it. I guess we’ll have to find out.
• I was told there would be chicken breast, ironic?
• We’re going to a spa for pedis and stuff.
• I’ve decided I’m not only getting a pedi but also a wax. It’s a first time for me, yes…I am a virgin.
• No stripping for me, not enough people. Still, if anyone wants to get me a stripper pole as a gift I won’t turn it down.
• There is more going on for the party, they just havne’t told me so therefore I can’t tell you. Sorry.
• I’m guessing we’ll either be wrestling in oil or having pillow fights. Isn’t that what you usually do at a bachelorette party?

While watching that show on E! about hot celebs of the nineties…

Erik: They should do a list of the hottest presidents.
Robin: That would be a short list.
Erik: Yeah…
Robin: Who would be on the list?
