Aurora Explains It All
You can learn a lot from your cats, even Aurora. Yeah she sleeps a lot and is the reason behind most of the scars I have but she has a lot more wisdom than meets the eye.

No More Love
He doesn’t love me anymore, my heart is broken.
For months now everyday he’d come and sit on my lap and snuggle me. He’d rub his head against me and purr. He’d drool and he’d fall asleep. I’m speaking of Pilot of course, not Erik
Last Saturday I had to take him to the vet because he’s been throwing up a lot. He wasn’t thrilled with the car ride but he handled it much better than Aurora does. He didn’t much like the people prodding him but other than a little fussing he was pretty strong.
That was until they started cutting his nails and mind you we have not cut either of their nails for years because we just gave up on trying to do it. To cut his nails one woman had to hold him down while the other took out the clippers. He went nuts, he was screaming and crying. I swear I could hear him say “mommy! help me!” but I just closed my eyes and covered my ears.
It was done pretty quickly but he wouldn’t look at me. We drove home and I tried to give him love but he ran off. Ever since that day, he has not cuddled me or even come anywhere near me.

Update: Tonight he cuddled me, the storm has passed
Oh what the hell, a couple more cutsie pictures of my Pilot.

Oh and a BIG Happy Birthday to the Bitch! You rock my world!!
Furkids Are Funny
It’s been a while since I’ve dedicated a post to my little furballs so here you go. The pictures are obviously more funny than the thought bubbles but hopefully you enjoy anyway. If this isn’t enough to tickle your fancy as usual go visit my photoblog (a great full moon lunar eclipse is up today) and my wedblog as it’s now less than 4 months until the wedding.
Oh and it would please me to no end if you support me in Relay for Life and you can find the link on the sidebar ![]()

2007 Scratchdown
Aurora and Pilot having been fighting a lot as they’ve been stuck inside together for months now. Don’t mind my video tricks, I’m still learning. I think the best part of this though is the “commentary.”
4 Days With Aurora and Pilot
Spending 4 days inside (and not venturing outside other than for a few minutes) with Aurora and Pilot I learned some stuff about them.
- They sleep, a lot. I mean…the only time they are not sleeping is when they are either eating, pooping or I wake them up out of boredom. Aurora does not like this, at all.
- Aurora hates having her picture taken and I have
scratches to prove it. - It turns out Pilot is the one knocking over the trashcans, little devil
- Conversations with them don’t go very far and they aren’t very receptive when I try to start debates. Even a debate on which is more obsessed over by felines: treats or catnip?
- The only treats that Pilot likes at all are the Ocean Fish Greenies

- Pilot only ever wants attention when I’m on my laptop or when I’m sleeping.
- Every few hours one of them will just tweak and start running around the house barking and spinning in circles. They might be possessed.
- Pilot sneezes a lot for a cat I think, he might be allergic to himself. Oh and if he’s cuddling you the sneeze will result in cat slobber all over you.
- Aurora is really needy but distant…I wonder who she learned that from
