I Hate To Admit

  • I watch the Scott Baio reality series.  I really don’t care much about Baio since Happy Days wasn’t really my generation and while Charles in Charge was my generation I never really got into it.  Baio seems actually pretty down to earth and funny.  He also doesn’t look 45 IMO.
  • Sometimes I wish Erik could dance because I love to dance.  He thinks he can dance but he can’t.
  • I plan to watch The Two Coreys even though Erik has refused to have anything to do with it.  I was a BIG fan of Corey Haim as a youngster and bought all the Bop magazines he was in.  I’m curious, sue me
  • I have a little online crush but it’s harmless.  I just use stalking and worshiping my altar to get my fill.
  • I really really enjoy planning a wedding and planning it my way.  I hate how much I love it and may shave my head in rebellion.
  • I’m not sure there is anyone with less willpower than me, seriously.  The only things I’ve managed to keep together is my blog, my relationship and my furkids (all those are questionable still).

I Gotta Work Out

I gotta work out. I keep saying it all the time. I keep saying I gotta start working out. It’s been about two months since I’ve worked out. And I just don’t have the time. Which uh..is odd. Because I have the time to go out to dinner. And uh..and watch tv. And get a bone density test. And uh.. try to figure out what my phone number spells in words.– Ellen Degeneres

One Hip Mom

Erik: My mom is hip.
Robin:
Erik: She has a Boys II Men cd.
Robin:
Erik: She also has Sting, Pink Floyd and Joss Stone!
Robin: Boys II Men are from the 90s.
Erik: But how many mothers that are in their sixties listen to this kind of music?
Robin: I doubt many of them listen to Boys II Men

Review: Turistas

Is there anything you would like a review on? Want more reviews? Don’t be afraid to ask. I may also do older reviews of movies you should have already seen.

Visit the Miss Knowitall review page for a list of reviews and rating system.
—————————————-

I like horror films, I’m not sure why but I guess I like to get an intense feeling out of Turistaswhatever movie I watch whether it’s fear, sadness or laughter. We decided to order Turistas the other night because we didn’t have anything else to watch and I let the fiance pick it because usually I’m the one to make the decisions regarding our entertainment for obvious reasons.

This movie was right in the middle for me, it wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t horrible either, which is kind of annoying when you are trying to write up a review. I think I’ll give you the good and bad points.

Good:
It was suspenseful for the most of it and made me cringe several times. This is a good thing about a movie because if it doesn’t cause some reaction then it didn’t do it’s job.
The location of it was a plus as it was both beautiful and scary at the same time.
The underwater parts made me feel like I was going to have a heart attack — again, a good thing.

Bad:
The characters were too pretty and were running around 1/2 naked too much. I also didn’t care about them much because you really didn’t get to know them.
The plot was lacking, I would have liked more information or more depth.
The end somehow seemed to come too soon, they should have included more at the house.

Rating: cafe-cup_24.pngcafe-cup_24.pngI probably wouldn’t bother if I were you, unless I didn’t really have anything else to watch.

If you would like to see what I’m renting via Netflix then you can become my friend if you want. No pressure.
