Speeding Up

I’ve book a few appointments to visit venues over the next couple weekends although one of the places I’m pretty sure isn’t going to work.  I found out from some people that this place has a noise policy and that makes me nervous.

I wouldn’t necessarily say my family is loud but we aren’t quiet either.  I don’t want to be worrying about that.  Part of me just wants to cancel the appointment and take the place off my list but I suppose I should see it just to say I did.

So we’ve got a lot of plans ahead and we’re even going to see the Maine place in a couple weeks, which I have a feeling is just what we are looking for.  So my calendar is packed and off we go!

Say Anything Wins

Which romantic movie is better?

  • Say Anything… (64%)
  • Love Actually (36%)
  • Total Votes: 11

Ok so I gave Watchdog a chance to see which movie was loved more: Say Anything… or Love Actually. Obviously again Say Anything… won because it’s a classic and Love Actually is only a handful of years old. It’s too bad we didn’t bet though.

Anything has some of the best romantic scenes ever such as the boom box scene or the phone booth scene. Actually has some really great parts and that scene where the guy holds up the cards is truly beautiful but there are like 20,000 characters and you really don’t get to bond with any of them as much as you’d like to.

Still they are 2 of my favorite movies and I really can’t knock either of them. I can however knock Watchdog for thinking Actually would actually win because it’s fun when he’s so very wrong.

We can’t forget I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen.

On a side note, if anyone uses Netflix and would like to add me as a friend you can send it to hismuse @ gmail.com.  I have good taste in movies, as you can see.

    Specialists and Blood Work

Finally had my yearly checkup this week and went over with my PCP all the physical problems I’m having. Know how many specialists she recommended to me? About 5 and a couple of them it’s a trip to get to them.

Part of me hoped she’d have some answers for me right there but I know it doesn’t happen like that. I also need to go back for blood work and 2 of the specialists I need to setup asap.

I’m starting to think it’s my lack of exercise that is causing most of the my medical problems. I need to join a gym and go during my lunch. Problem is I love catching up with online things at lunch including perezhilton.com but I suppose I can always do that when I get home.

Anyway, if you’d like something less depressing you can visit the WedBlog.
