Sometimes I swear my life is a movie with a really cheesy soundtrack.

We’re sitting in Friendly’s having breakfast right before our meeting for the closing and what song comes on the radio? Looks Like We Made It by Barry Manilow. Yeah, seriously How fitting in a really cheesy way is that?

The closing went well and the seller was very nice. It took about an hour and I swear I’ve never signed my name so many times in a matter of weeks. I don’t get why it’s so damn complicated, but it’s over

We went to buy paint, 4 cans for 4 different rooms. I’m already leary on the colors but that may just me second guessing myself as always. I’m excited to start but Erik says there is a lot to do before the painting like spackling and stuff. I just want to get started :hyper:

I’ve joined a wonderful blog called Purple Women^TM and I’m so thrilled they wanted me on their team. I’ve already been introduced and have my first post up titled Peace and Quiet. I have so much to say as a childfree woman and I think this site has a great message.

I’m starting another venture online (yes I am that insane) with two wonderful ladies Vixen and Jade. I will give more info when it’s coming into place. With contributing blogs I feel it’s usually a hit or miss thing but one has to give it a try. I think we have a good idea going :cheesy:

Ok, I admit it. I now officially have a reality show I love

I am completely addicted to So You Think You Can Dance and have even ((gasp)) voted. Considering how obsessed people are with American Idol I have never once voted or really watched it at all. For me I love this reality dance show because I simple love watching dancing.

With that being said I have to say my top couples are Benji and Donyelle alongside a close Ivan and Allison. Last night Benji/Donyelle did a Pop Jazz routine and we were worried they wouldn’t be able to pull it off. Not only did they pull it off they were unbelievable. I was blown away and just wanted to hug them. Ivan/Allison are just too cute. He looks like a little brother and she has just the most adorable face. Last night they did some kind of Argentine Tango or something. Whatever it was it was probably the hottest dance of the night and simply unreal.

I’ve adored Benji from the very beginning given that swing is his dance of choice and I just love swing dancing. He’s also really goofy and kind of a dork, which I find to be really attractive qualities. In reality though he’s just an amazing dancer and was simply born to work it I would never have thought Benji and Donyelle would have any kind of chemistry since he’s a skinny white boy and she’s a curvy African American woman but they really do.

Ivan and Allison are cute but I don’t adore them like I do Benji and Donyelle. I guess I think Benji/Donyelle are just so different and unexpected. They have so much working against them being she’s been criticized for her weight and nobody expected him to do more than ballroom dancing but they’ve impressed everyone. Still, these 4 couples are at the top of my list.

I’m searching for pictures or videos of last night but can’t find a damn thing but I will keep an eye out. If you haven’t watched the show just check it out, even if just for the dancing.

I’ve always hated Christmas and not just because I was raised celebrating Chanukah either. I hate how stressed and tense people get during the holidays. I hate the expectations and the ridiculous amount of money you spend. I hate how much energy goes into so little in return.

So assuming Erik is in for it I want to Say No To Christmas this year and only go the holiday parties to spend time with family. I’m a little nervous at how MIL will react to this or how the rest of the family will become frustrated. Maybe they’ll all surprise me and completely understand.

It’s hard to comprehend not sending out 30+ holiday cards nobody cares about or having to hit the mobbed malls last minute to get a gift for someone you forgot about. I won’t have to feel guilty for getting someone a crappy present when they got me something really nice. When the time comes for MIL’s usual visit I’ll be much less anxiety ridden, now that’s a big plus.

I think I’d just rather get the people I really care about gifts when I feel like it instead of doing it all at once.  What do you think?
